Gordon Blakeley has spent decades identifying and developing elite talent at the highest levels of baseball. During his career with the New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners, and Atlanta Braves organizations, he played a key role in the evaluation and signing of players such as Hideki Matsui, Robinson Canó, Ronald Acuña Jr., Ozzie Albies, and David Ortiz. Selected players may earn an invitation to the Going Yard Eastern Scout Games on June 22 at Covenant Health Park, home of the Knoxville Smokies. Top performers from the Eastern Scout Games may then be selected for The Call-Up Experience this November at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
