The Going Yard Home Run Derby, in partnership with the Akron Rubberducks, brings this year's celebrity derby event to 7 17 Credit Union Park in Akron, Ohio this coming Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 7:00pm, and will feature a talented group of hitters and personalities competing in our original derby format, which, unlike any other derby, gives an amateur player the opportunity to compete against the pros! We are proud to announce that this year's Derby in Akron will be headlined by:
RAJAI DAVIS (MLB alum, Cleveland Guardians) and ERIC SIM, King of JUCO (renowned professional baseball influencer personality)
Also competing in this year's Going Yard Home Run Derby, in partnership with the Rubberducks, will be:
- Miguel Olivo (MLB alum - White Sox / Mariners / Marlins)
- Chris Colabello (MLB alum - Blue Jays / Twins)
- "Swingman" - Jeremy Nowak (professional baseball influencer and personality)
- Josh McAdams (MiLB - Guardians)
- Yazy Arbelo (MiLB - Diamondbacks)
- with special appearance by none other than Bartolo Colon (MLB alum, Cleveland Guardians), who will throw to select Derby participants!
